To introduce project teams to the dynamics, principles, values and processes of Agile Project Management. The session will address real-world issues and strategies that can be used to manage projects that have a high level of uncertainty and risks, require rapid delivery of minimal valuable products/deliverables.

Dr. Joseph Ishmael Khan

DBA, MBA, PMP, CSM, Certifed Prosci Change Practitioner, Dip.PM, Dip.MET

Experiencia en agilidad: Dr. Joseph Ishmael Khan is a world-class project management practitioner, with 20 years of consulting, facilitating and lecturing experience. Dr. Khan presently leads strategic and development project management consultancies in Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, Jamaica, Barbados, Bahamas, Grenada, Suriname and Germany, for International Development Agencies, private sector organizations, Government ministries and State enterprises. Dr. Khan is also an adjunct faculty with the Faculty of Engineering, University of the West Indies, Faculty of Humanities and Education University of the West Indies, and the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business UWI. Dr. Khan is a project management evangelist and agilist who enthusiastically enjoys delivering ‘hands-on’ project management training workshops. Dr. Khan appreciates the emphasis Agile PM puts on people, collaboration and self-organized teams, and works closely with organizations to develop an Agile mindset.

Dale A. James


Dale is a trainied development economist who spent almost 12 years working the leading development financial bank for LAC (The Inter-American Development Bank) where he worked across the entire project cycle and is an experienced in project and portfolio management and agile. Dale presently works with the top Higher Education Institution in the Caribbean and leading research University on SDG 13 in the world (The University of the West Indies) as a Programme Manager in their Global Partnerships Office. Dale hold a both BSc. and MSc. in Economics and holds professional certfications is Project Management, SCRUM, Change Management. Dale has worked acorss many Caribbean countries and some Latin American territories working on projects and coaching and mentoring team. He also recently completed his LLB. Law 2020 and his main passion is finding innovative solutions to solving problems for a social good.
